CraniUS Therapeutics

Patient-specific cranial implants that form the foundation of a skull-embedded, direct-to-brain drug delivery platform.

What they do

CraniUS builds the NeuroPASS platform: patient-specific PEEK cranioplasty plates cleared by the FDA (NeuroPASS 1 in July 2026 under K261058, NeuroPASS 2 in September 2026 under K262874, which adds openings for an implantable intracranial pressure sensor). An issued US patent protects NeuroPASS 3, an investigational fully implantable convection drug delivery pump designed to bypass the blood-brain barrier, with a first-in-human study in recurrent glioblastoma targeted for 2027. The company has NIH Blueprint MedTech funding of up to $4M and closed a $20M Series B in February 2026.
