Policy and regulatory
People who read the guidance in full and can translate it for builders.
Format and length
- Length800 to 1,500 words. Shorter pitches are fine; longer pieces need a strong reason.
- ToneClear, direct, and respectful of the reader's time. Avoid jargon unless you explain it.
- StructureStart with the argument. Use headings, short paragraphs, and bullet points where they help.
- SourcesLink to filings, studies, guidance documents, or data you reference. We verify claims before publishing.
- DisclosureList every relevant interest: employer, clients, advisory roles, investments, and board seats.
- Author bioOne to two sentences on who you are and why you are qualified to write this.
What we look for
- One clear argument, stated in the first paragraph.
- Evidence a reader can check: filings, guidance, published data, first-hand numbers.
- Specific to healthtech. General leadership or productivity advice is not for us.
- Written by you, not by a communications team, and not published anywhere else.
- Every commercial interest disclosed, including clients, holdings, and advisory roles.
What we do not publish
Product launches, funding announcements, and company news
Those belong on our Press Releases page. We are happy to receive them there.
Promotional pieces or backlink requests
We do not publish copy whose main purpose is to sell a service or improve SEO.
Content about named individuals or companies in a negative light
We cover companies and products, not private lives, controversies, or attacks.
Ghostwritten or agency-supplied copy
The named author must be the person who wrote the piece. Communications teams may help with formatting only.
