EHDS Regulation enters into force

About this milestone

Regulation (EU) 2025/327 on the European Health Data Space was published in the Official Journal on 5 March 2025 and entered into force on 26 March 2025. Entry into force starts the transition; most operational obligations apply later. The EHDS creates a common framework for primary use (care) and secondary use (research, policy, innovation) of electronic health data across the EU.
